The day is fitting, and before it ends I want to rededicate this blog to my best friend. Today was her birthday, today was Ruby's birthday. And I was at the Garden today waiting for Angela, Mom. Yes Angela, I know you would have loved that! I was so proud to share my garden with her and show off my Calaloo plot, just for Calaloo you know. I shared with her Calaloo and green beans, three kinds of mints and showed her where Jon has his garden. I know, I know you would have been proud. To see how your love for us all I still carry and I spread it, unconditionally. My friend Linsey, said it perfect after I shared my poetry with her: You also gave me your heart and your courage. I love you always.
